This project convert 2,900 m² of former university laboratories into 28 residential units, 200 m² of office space, and 550 m² of commercial space at street level, with large storefront windows. The redevelopment retains the existing structure, streamlining the planning process and reducing environmental impact.

The design prioritises adaptive reuse, preserving the building’s original integrity while upgrading it for modern living and working. The street-facing façade is maintained and enhanced with improved windows and a refined bow-window curtain wall. The internal courtyard façade will be cleared of later additions to reveal a cleaner architectural line. Sustainability is a key focus, with energy efficiency upgrades and the discreet addition of an elevator in the office section.
